Privacy Policy

PawCouple ("the app") is a game for couples operated by Hoang Nguyen ("we", "us"): each of you is a chibi dog or cat, sharing a home and caring for each other. This policy explains what data the app collects, who sees it and the choices you have.

We do not sell your data and never use your moods, notes or answers for advertising.

1. Data we collect

• Account: email, display name, language and time zone.
• Game: your pet (species, breed, colour, name, level, outfit), coins and hearts, your home and its decorations, care actions.
• Shared memories: the moods you tap and their notes, your answers to the daily question, and the anniversaries and events you add.
• Notifications: your device's push token, to send reminders and messages from your partner.
• Plans and purchases: your plan, its expiry and the items you bought. We never receive your card details.
• Feedback you send and technical sign-in details (IP address, device type) used to protect your account.

We do not collect your location, contacts or advertising identifiers.

2. Who sees your data

• The people in your home see your pet, the moods and notes you share, your answers (once both of you have answered) and your shared memories.
• When someone moves out, the memories of that time together stay read-only for the people who lived there then. Whoever moves in later never sees them.
• Friends and visitors (when that feature is available) only see the home, the pets and the decorations — never moods, notes or answers.

3. How we use it

• To run the game, keep the two of you in sync and send notifications.
• To confirm your plan and the items you bought.
• To sign you in, protect your account, answer feedback and fix bugs.

Mood notes, answers and event names are encrypted before they are stored in the database.

4. Service providers

• Cloud hosting: runs the servers and stores the app's data and images.
• Email delivery: sends sign-in codes.
• Push notifications: delivers notifications to your device.
• Payments: the App Store or Google Play processes payments; the subscription provider receives your account id and purchase details.
• Internal tools: help us read the feedback you send.

We only disclose data to authorities when the law requires it.

5. Storage, retention and deletion

Data is stored on our providers' servers, which may be outside Vietnam, encrypted in transit and with restricted access. It is kept while your account exists.

When you delete your account (Settings → Account → Delete account), your account, pet, wallet, moods and answers are deleted permanently. The home stays with whoever still lives there. See also: Delete your account and data.

6. Your rights

You can view, edit and delete your data in the app, or email [email protected] to request a copy, a correction, restricted processing or to withdraw consent. We may need to verify that you own the account.

7. Age

The app is for people aged 16 and over. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes and contact

When this policy changes we update the date at the top, and announce important changes in the app.
